I am a spayed female & I look like a American Staffordshire Terrier mix
The shelter staff think I am 7 months old.
Hi, I’m Esme—a sweet and spunky girl weighing 25 pounds. I was recently returned to the shelter through no fault of my own—someone in my home had allergies. I’m still learning how to walk calmly on a leash, but I’m treat-motivated and love going on long walks to get away from the noise of the shelter. I’m easy to leash up, social with people and other dogs, and always ready to say hi to visitors. I haven’t been around kids yet and I’m still working on housetraining, but I’m playful, friendly, and eager to learn. I can be a little shy sometimes, but being with kind people helps me feel more confident. If you're looking for a young, active pup who just needs a little guidance and a lot of love, I’d be so happy to meet you.
